Today, the Surfers Paradise Brass Band held its highly anticipated 37th Annual General Meeting (AGM), with resounding success! We were thrilled to see a good turnout of members, all eager to contribute to the future of our beloved band.
A special thank you goes out to our esteemed band patron, Hon John-Paul Langbroek, for gracing us with his presence. His unwavering support and dedication to our band have been invaluable. We were honored to have him declare the new committee and positions of responsibility for the upcoming year.
We also thank Cr Brooke Patterson & Rob Molhoek for their consistent support of the band.
The AGM was a wonderful opportunity for members to come together and discuss the year that was 2024. With a renewed sense of enthusiasm and commitment with the new 2025 committee, we are confident that the Surfers Paradise Brass Band will continue to thrive and make beautiful music for our community.
We encourage all members to stay engaged and actively participate in our upcoming events and rehearsals. Your involvement is crucial to our success, and we look forward to seeing you at our next gathering.
Thank you once again to everyone who attended the AGM. Together, we will make this year one of our best yet!
Stay tuned for more updates and announcements. Let’s keep making great music together!

First rehearsal of the year went well. I think the chops of those who are preparing to play solos in the Nationals fared very well, and a few other dedicated members also!
